Thematic Session Hosted by Sinar Mas:
Sinar Mas will host a two-part thematic session focused on the transition to renewable energy and decarbonization within Indonesian industries.
The first session, titled “Decarbonizing Indonesian Industry – Lessons Learned from Implementing Net Zero Plans,” will feature insights from Elim Sritaba, Chief Sustainability Officer of APP Group, Anita Neville, Chief Sustainability and Communications Officer of Golden Agri Resources, and Muhammad Reza Abdulmajid, Chief Risk & Sustainability Officer of Sinar Mas Land. This session will address the challenges faced by Indonesian industries in reducing carbon emissions and outline practical steps for transitioning to renewable energy and sustainable fuels. The discussion will include collaborative strategies and cross-sector approaches needed to achieve ambitious decarbonization targets. They will discuss the challenges and strategies involved in reducing carbon emissions and share valuable lessons from their experience in implementing net-zero plans.
