Sinar Mas operates its agribusiness and food pillar through Golden Agri- Resources Ltd. (“GAR”), a company listed on the Singapore Exchange in 1999. One of GAR’s main subsidiaries, PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk (PT SMART Tbk), was listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 1992.

With roots in palm oil, Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) is a global seed-to-shelf agribusiness growing food, fuel, and everyday ingredients. Through sustainable, end-to-end solutions, GAR empowers customers, supports suppliers, and strengthens the communities it serves.

GAR manages over half a million hectares of plantations in Indonesia, with integrated operations also spanning mills, refining, oleochemicals, specialty fats, biodiesel, and more than 30 branded consumer products.

Beyond palm, GAR also trades in sugar, soybean, sunflower, and coconut, supported by strong shipping and logistics capabilities and operations in 14 countries, serving customers in more than 110 markets.

Sustainability is at the heart of how GAR grows. Today, 99.8% of its Indonesian palm supply chain is traceable to the plantation, while non-palm sourcing is 100% traceable to the mill.
